Laurie's Picks -- Some Recommended Reading from “The Book Lady”

In my thirty year career in book selling, one of the most often asked questions is “What is your favorite book?”  The second most often asked is “Have you read every book in the store?” to which I always answered yes!

It is difficult to list favorite books because great new reads come along every day.  These lists will change periodically to keep current with new releases and we encourage your feedback.  Many of the titles listed here were suggested by bookstore customers and it is one of my strongest beliefs that next to reading a great book is the opportunity to discuss it with someone.
